Have eaten at the Double Musky Inn for many years. By far one of the great restaurants in the US. So glad to have this cookbook with their recipes.
I lived in Alaska over 35 years and always ate at the Double Musky located in Girdwood, Alaska. There food is WONDERFUL. I was so happy to see them product a cookbook of their great meals. This cookbook is a great addition to a cookbook collector or for anyone that just loves great food. A+++ Plus it makes me remember how much I miss living in Alaska. :)
Skied at Alyeska this past winter and ate at the Double Musky.......FANTASTIC RESTAURANT! I wanted their cookbook for a few of the items we loved that night and found this cookbook on Amazaon!
A lot of wonderful recipes and some very unusual ones as well.
I LOVE TO COOK . I own more than 100 cookbooks but none like this one. I received mine as a gift and it turned into my favorite very quickly. Beside "How to make rue's and terrific sauces it was an interesting read. I bought it as a gift for graduation for my niece who was a culinary student and she agrees it is a great read.
Love it - almost as much as the actual restaurant!!
I've had a few meals made from this book and decided to buy it my self. It is like being in the back of the restaurant. With the why and how to with an informal read.
