I attended a special exhibit of Morisot in Quebec. I was so inspired by the artist I immediately ordered the book of this special exhibit. Truly one of the greatest Impressionist painters who is sadly often ignored in the shadows of Monet and others. A magnificent painter with a unique style and subject matter. A real path forger for women!
A great big book on Berthe Morisot is long overdue! I am so happy to own this one chock full of the best color plates including detail shots as well as excellent writing!
